A first in 57 years since England beat San Marino 10-0

The Euro 2020 finalist smashed San Marino.

The England national team almost did not stop on Monday night.

The British, who were guests of San Marino in the last match of the 2022 World Cup European Qualification Group I, managed to leave the field with a 10-0 victory.

After this result, Gareth Southgate's students finished the group leader with 26 points and put the Qatar ticket in their pocket.

The Three Lions didn't just win a World Cup ticket by beating San Marino 10-0. It also broke new ground in a long time.

On Monday night, after 57 years, England had 10 different victories against a team.

The British last defeated the USA 10-0 in 1964.

England, the heavy favorites of the match, opened the goal curtain in the 6th minute and took the lead with Harry Maguire's head goal. Nine minutes after that goal, San Marino player Fabbri blew up their net, so the lead was doubled.

Taking the lead from the penalty to three at 27, Harry Kane scored another goal at 31 and had no intention of stopping. Tottenham's star, who was on top of the ball in the penalty spot at 39, managed to score a hat-trick.

Kane, who scored another goal in 42, scored four goals in the first half, bringing the score to 6-0.

Three Lions managed to reach a 10-0 victory in the second half with goals from Smith Rowe, Tyrone Mings, Tammy Abraham and Bukayo Saka, respectively.
