Arsenal player confession: I don't like watching football

Arsenal's 24-year-old defender, Ben White, stated that he has different interests and that he has not liked watching football since he was a child.

Arsenal defender Ben White has admitted that he does not enjoy watching football. Also, he wants to be called Benjamin.

Ben White joined Arsenal from Brighton in the summer transfer window for a fee of £50m.

Saying that he dedicates his life to football professionally, the 24-year-old player states that he prefers to play different games when he is off the field and participates in activities other than football.

"Football is a very intense game. You always have to give your 100 percent. After games or practice, all I want is to go home and not think about football. Then, when I wake up again, I'm at my best and I'm at my best," White told Sky Sports. I'm ready thinking I'll give it," he said.

"I watch myself to see my mistakes and learn from them. Sometimes I also watch the England National Team. I don't particularly plan to watch a match because I always have other things to do.

“I never watched football when I was young. I don't watch it now, but I love playing football.

"So, I don't know much about past generations, but I do know that Arsenal's former player Vieira is a very good player. However, I don't know the players in detail."

Asked what name he wanted to be used, White replied, "You can call me whatever you want, but of course I may not answer. The name I want to be called is definitely Benjamin."
