Arsenal's 10-year-old discoverer Lionel Messi from Kenya

Leo Messo, who wants to follow in the footsteps of players such as Chuba Akpom, Eddie Nkeitah and Alex Iwobi, is the latest African to join Arsenal.

The 10-year-old 'wonder boy' grew up on the West Ham United infrastructure before transferring to North London.

Messo toured the academy facilities on Wednesday and aims to follow in the footsteps of Nigerian duo Chuba Akpom, Alex Iwobi and Ghanaian Eddie Nketiah.

Arsenal fans showed great interest in this transfer, especially on social media. Fans waiting to play at Emirates Stadium are excited to watch Leo Messo.
