Chile's star player could be penalized for breaking the covid rules in Copa America.

What happened in the hotel where the Chilean team that competed in Copa America stayed was the subject of great controversy.

It turned out that a group of Chilean players invited some people from outside to the hotel, ignoring the measures taken against Covid-19. The incident took place shortly before Chile's game against Bolivia on June 18.

While the Chilean Football Federation issued an apology regarding the issue, it did not specify which players were involved in the incident. However, according to the news in the Chilean press; Arturo Vidal, who plays for Inter, and team captain Gary Medel are among these names.

In the statement of the federation, there was also information that no positive results were found in the Covid-19 tests performed after the incident.
