Countdown for trainings in the Premier League

Premier League teams, which started working in groups this week, are on the countdown for team work.

The Premier League, which is expected to restart in mid-June, may allow clubs to begin training as a team in a short time.

Oliver Dowden, Secretary of the UK Ministry of Culture, Media and Sports, said on Wednesday that the protocols for team training will be set this week.

Six positive cases were detected in the 748 Covid-19 tests conducted in the Premier League clubs this week for the players and technical delegation teams.

On the other hand, the lack of audience due to the Covid-19 outbreak may also lead to some changes regarding the broadcasting rights in the Premier League.

Dowden also stated that some Premier League matches can be broadcast free of charge.
