Cristiano Ronaldo won another award!

The Italian Football Association gave the awards of the best of the past season.

While Juventus became the champion in Italy Serie A last season, the Italian Football Association (AIC) named Cristiano Ronaldo the best player of the 2019-2020 season.

The awards of the best of the past season were distributed at the ceremony organized by the Italian Football Association (AIC). Cristiano Ronaldo, who played an important role in Juventus' take the lead, was named the best player of the season, scoring 31 goals in Serie A last season.

Gasperini also received an award

Gian Piero Gasperini, who has been the coach of Atalanta since 2016, was also awarded the best coach of the season.

Bergamo team collected 78 points in 38 matches last season with 23 wins, 9 draws and 6 losses and finished the league in 3rd place.

Best referee Orsato

The best referee of the 2019-2020 season was awarded at the ceremony organized by the Italian Football Association. Experienced referee Daniele Orsato, 45, was awarded this award.

Best 11

Considering the performances of the last season, the best 11 were announced.

Gianluigi Donnarumma, Theo Hernandez, Stefan De Vrij, Leonardo Bonucci and Robin Gosens were in midfield, Nicolo Barella, Papu Gomez, Luis Alberto, and in the forward trio Paulo Dybala, Ciro Immobile and Cristiano Ronaldo were in the best 11 of the season.

Ronaldo announces his best goal

Speaking at the ceremony, Cristiano Ronaldo described the last season as 'an odd season'.

"It was a strange season. It was positive due to the championship we won. It was a bit difficult to play in empty stands, our goal was the championship and we succeeded.

I thank all the players and teammates who voted for me. " Ronaldo also stated that his away header goal against Sampdoria was his best header goal.
