David Beckham: Solskjaer Manchester United is also doing an amazing job

Manchester United legend David Beckham said Ole Gunnar Solskjaer did a successful job as coach.

Continuing his career in football as the owner of Inter Miami, one of the MLS teams, Manchester United legend David Beckham said that his former teammate Ole Gunnar Solskjaer had a very successful period as Manchester United coach.

The Norwegian coach, who replaced Portuguese coach Jose Mourinho in December 2018, scored 57 points after the remaining 29 games in the league and ranked second, 14 points behind Manchester City. United, which was preparing to get a Champions League visa by entering the top four for two consecutive seasons, eliminated Milan in the UEFA Europa League and reached the quarterfinals.

The Solskjaer-Beckham duo ran together at Old Trafford from 1996 to 2003 and won five Premier League titles as well as the Champions League in the 1998-1999 season.

Evaluating Solskjaer's time at Manchester United to ESPN, Beckham said that his former teammate had a successful period.

"I see criticism, but when you become Manchester United's coach or footballer, there will definitely be something people criticize. It has always been the case.

"Ole has been doing this for long enough to withstand any criticism and he keeps working quietly. I think he's doing an incredible job as manager of Manchester United.

"The scores and successes of the team show this. We all love Ole and we want him to be successful."
