Pep Guardiola talked about the possibility of adding a striker to the Manchester City squad.
As Sergio Aguero said goodbye to the team, speculation began to be made about who the Premier League team would transfer instead of the Argentine striker.
While Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund has long been associated with City, Harry Kane's desire to leave Tottenham enabled the English striker to be added to the list.
Manchester City players shared goals this season, but Pep Guardiola wants a productive striker, and both Erling Haaland and Harry Kane fit that profile.
The Spanish manager told Mirror on the matter:
“To be honest, I'd love to have a striker who scored 50 goals a season. But at the same time, I don't like to put all the pressure on a single player.
“In Barcelona, Lionel Messi scored 50 goals every season. Thierry Henry scored many goals in the first season, and Samuel Eto scored a lot. "
