While Erling Haaland, who shook the rival nets 40 times in 39 matches this season with the Dortmund jersey and is expected to mark the next 15 years of European football, remains uncertain about which team will wear the next season, Dortmund believes that the Norwegian star will be able to keep the team in the next season.
Hans-Joachim Watzke, CEO of the German team, said in a statement at Bild that he believes Haaland will continue to wear the Dortmund shirt in the coming season:
"It is very natural that Real Madrid and Barcelona are interested in Haaland because he is a great player. I think they know the contractual situation and they are aware of our situation, but I can say that I am completely comfortable.
"Last summer, no one believed we could keep Jadon Sancho on the team, but he's still with us. We can continue to feel good because Haaland's contract continues."
