'Impossible' release clause to be paid for Pedri from Barcelona

The 18-year-old Spanish football player has handed over his future to Barcelona. Barça put an unpayable release clause in the contract.

Barcelona has extended Pedri Gonzales' contract until 2026.

Pedri, who grew up in La Palmas infrastructure, signed for Barcelona in 2019 for 20 million euros.

The player, who spent the 2019/20 season on loan in Las Palmas, became one of the important names of the team after returning to Barça.

Pedri's contract with the Catalan giant expired in the summer of 2022. Barcelona, which has been working on contract renewal with the player for a while, made an agreement to keep the 18-year-old player in the team until the summer of 2026.

Pedri's release clause in Barça was determined as 1 million euros.
