'Inter's trying to get Messi'

Massimo Moratti, the former legendary chairman of Inter, said the club's current management is trying to transfer Lionel Messi.

Speaking on the radio program he attended in Italy, Moratti stated that he had the Inter management work on Messi and said, "He has not yet renewed a contract with Barcelona. Inter has a dream to make the transfer. I know there are works in this direction."

Underlining that Messi's playing in Inter is not an unrealistic dream, Moratti underlined that similar unusual transfer moves may be seen in the near future.

Among the sensational transfers that Moratti, who was president of the Inter club in 1995 and now is the Honorary President, were among the sensational transfers he made, such as Ronaldo, Ibrahimovic, Christian Vieri, Wesley Sneijder, Samuel Eto'o, Juan Sebastian Veron, Hernan Crespo.
