Juventus FC going to cuts wages

The Italian team, in a statement, announced that the players and Maurizio Sarri accepted the pay cut.

In Italy Serie A, which is among the leagues suspended due to the outbreak of the new type of coronavirus (COVID-19), clubs are looking for methods to relieve themselves financially.

At the beginning of these methods is cutting wages for a certain period of time. Juventus, one of the leading clubs in Italy, stated that team A players and coach Maurizio Sarri accepted this offer.

The statement made the following statements:

"Due to the global health conditions affecting sports activities, we have reached an agreement with the players and our coach about cuts in salaries in 2019-20 season. There will be equal cuts in March, April, May and June. An agreement will be signed with our players and coach in the coming weeks. We will save our club from a load of 90 million euros. If the games are decided to be played again in the 2019-20 season, we will meet again with my players and our coach.
