Jürgen Klopp loses key thinker member to Newcastle

Newcastle, which entered a new structure under the management of Eddie Howe, strengthened its technical staff.

Trying to move away from the relegation line in the Premier League, Newcastle United also continues its long-term investments.

The club, which brought Eddie Howe to the manager position, linked Mark Leyland, who works as a performance analyst at Liverpool, to their colors.

Leyland, who came to Liverpool in 2013, had previously worked with Howe at Burnley. Although their professional careers progressed in different directions, the friendship that developed between the two continued in the meantime.
