Lazio, one of the strong teams of Italy Serie A, was referred to the Italian Federal Court with the allegation that football players played in coronavirus tests.

According to the news in ESPN; It is alleged that if Lazio is found guilty at the end of the trial, he may face penalties such as stripping points and being lowered to Serie B.

Ivo Pulcini and Fabio Rodia, along with Lazio President Claudio Lotito, have been accused by prosecutors of violating coronavirus protocols. In the Italian Football Federation, he announced that Lazio did not report the number of cases correctly.

According to other allegations, Lazio drove a player who tested positive but showed no symptoms to the field in the Serie A match, violating the quarantine period.

On the other hand, Lazio Club Spokesperson Roberto Roa made a statement. In the Roa statement; "We believe in the justice of sports. This justice will be provided within equitable institutions and it will be understood that we are not involved in such matters in any way."

Lazio ranks 7th in the league with 40 points in 22 weeks.
