Arturo Diaconale, a press spokesman for Lazio, one of the Serie A teams, said that if the suspended league could not be completed due to the new type of coronavirus (Kovid-19), the matter would be brought to court.
In a statement to TMW Radio, Diaconale stated that if the necessary health conditions are met, football can be resumed.
"Players can live in a camp with health equipment. In this way, we can prevent them from spreading," said Diaconale, who recommended football players to have a coronavirus test before going to the matches.
Emphasizing that the season should be completed on the field, Diaconale commented, "If this season does not end naturally, the next season will be destroyed and the issue will be brought to the courts."
Gabriele Gravina, President of the Italian Football Federation (FIGC), said he hopes the leagues will continue in May.
