Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp: There's no point in rushing

The German manager emphasizes that players struggling to recover from injury should not take risks.

The recovery process of injured players is eagerly awaited in Liverpool, which almost returned to the infirmary last season.

The name most affected by these troubles is undoubtedly none other than the team's manager, Jürgen Klopp.

Liverpool boss; Trent Alexander-Arnold updated on the latest statuses of Virgil Van Dijk and Joe Gomez.

Speaking to the club's website before the friendly match against FC Wacker Innsbruck and Stuttgart on Tuesday, Klopp said:

"It's different for each one. For Trent, I'll have to talk to the medical department and they'll tell me if it's too early. I think he is. He can play for a few minutes on Tuesday.

“Joe Gomez and Virgil Van Dijk are in a similar situation. They're not exactly the same, but they're similar. They both did some parts of our regular training.

"They're doing extra work. They're getting closer and closer to coming back, that's our impression.

"They've been doing really well in training so far and we'll see when we can get them into regular training. I don't know when it's time and I'm not in a rush.

"We've waited a long time and now we can wait a few more days. It's okay."
