Liverpool star Sadio Mane: Disappointed

The Senegalese striker did not contribute enough to the score last season and now wants to change that.

Liverpool star Sadio Mane is aiming to score 30 goals into the opponent's nets this season.

The Senegalese striker, who finished last season with 16 goals, reached his lowest score since 2017.

He wasn't the only player in the Reds to suffer a fall due to injuries. However, Mane emphasizes that he still wants to return to his old form this season.

Discussing his goals in the official matchday program of iverpool, Mane said the following on the subject:

"I want to score 30 goals this season.

"Why not? For me, the more the better, and my ambition for the team is to win trophies. Everyone in the team is hungry for that.

"Last season I was very disappointed because I thought I could do more.

"I could have scored between 18-22 goals in a season, but that wasn't the case and that disappointed me.
