In the match, Porto was leading 1-0 with Luis Diaz's goal in the 14th minute, while Manchester City caught equality with Sergio Agüero's goal in the 20th minute, and the first half ended with a 1-1 equality.

Manchester City, which was the judge of the game in the second half, reached the conclusion with the goals scored by İlkay Gündoğan in the 65th minute and Ferran Torres in the 73rd minute.
