Mauricio Pochettino: I want to win a cup with Tottenham before I die

The Argentinian coach, who was dismissed last November, dreams of the days when he will return to his old club.

Mauricio Pochettino, who worked for England Premier League team Tottenham between 2014-2019, was successful in the UEFA Champions League in the 2018-19 season and the England League Cup in the 2014-15 season with his London representative.

Pochettino's students took second place in the English Premier League once and twice in this period.

However, these successes were not enough to protect Pochettino's business. Tottenham, who ended the Argentine coach in November 2019, brought Jose Mourinho to the team.

The 48-year-old coach still hopes to return to his former team one day.

Speaking to BT Sport, Pochettino said, "No one would want a great journey to end in this way. But I feel deep in my soul and heart will again cross my paths with Tottenham. My dream is one day to return to Tottenham and complete the job I left halfway. We were on the right way to win the trophies. but unfortunately, I am also focused on my future plans. I still want to go back to Tottenham, because both the club and the fans are very special to me. "The meaning of winning a trophy is huge for me".
