Mourinho: Alex Ferguson may disagree with Solskjaer's statements

The Portuguese manager is determined to bring Manchester United's legendary coach to his side in the cup controversy.

Tottenham Manager Jose Mourinho said Manchester United legend Sir Alex Ferguson would not agree with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's attitude towards the trophies.

United have not won any trophies since their UEFA Europa League title during the Mourinho era.

Red Devils 'manager, Solskjaer, started a new controversy by saying that trophy successes are a matter of other managers' ego.

But Mourinho has a different view and believes that United's best manager ever will take his side in this debate.

The Portuguese manager commented on Solskjaer's underestimation of winning the trophy:

"That's his opinion. I'm pretty sure the big boss Sir Alex has a different opinion on this. But I respect Solskjaer's opinion. I think differently."

“Freedom to think, freedom of opinion, and if that's what he thinks is right for me, it's okay for me, it doesn't disrespect anyone.

"But I repeat, I believe his big boss and the biggest boss in Premier League history have a different view of it."
