Old players want Wenger's statue to be made

Arsenal's two former players, Ray Parlor and Martin Keown, believe that the most successful coach in club history should be immortalized.

Ray Parlor and Martin Keown, one of Arsenal's former players, stated that Arsene Wenger's statue should be erected outside the Emirates Stadium.

Employing a British team for 22 years, Wenger is the most successful and longest serving manager in club history.

Arsenal led by Wenger managed to take three Premier Leagues and seven Federation Cups to his museum between 1996 and 2018.

Parlor and Keown, who worked with Arsene Wenger in their careers, said to the Daily Mail, "We were finishing the tenth, fourth or fifth before he came. We had three champions with Wenger. Arsene deserves the erection of his statue. He had an amazing vision. He was also one of the creators of Emirates Stadium. If he did not say that Highbury was not big enough, we would not be able to compete with our new stadium. "
