Pepe: Cristiano Ronaldo happy in Juventus

Former Beşiktaş's Pepe says his Portuguese friend Cristiano Ronaldo will not consider returning home.

Saying that Cristiano Ronaldo is "very happy" in Turin, Pepe gives a tip that his former teammate from Real Madrid will stay in Juventus.

The 36-year-old Portuguese star is completely focused on Serie A after bidding farewell to the Champions League.

Although the successful striker did not spend a year as he wanted this season, Pepe says Cristiano Ronaldo is happy with the Italian giant.

Speaking to Novo, Pepe gave the following answer when asked if Ronaldo was considering returning to his country:

"Frankly, as far as I know him, I don't know if you can tolerate the way many people talk about football in Portugal."

"I think he's happy in Turin, the leading Serie A striker, his critics don't know how hard it is to score more than 30 goals each year."

"What Cristiano has done is amazing. I hope he stays there for many more years, brings joy to football fans and, as always, represents Portugal very well."
