Kevin De Bruyne, who played for Manchester City, was the best player of the 2019-20 season in the Premier League.

Manchester City's Belgian star Kevin De Bruyne was named the best player of the season in the Premier League.

The 29-year-old footballer, Liverpool's trio Jordan Henderson, Sadio Mane and Trent Alexander-Arnold, as well as Danny Ings wearing Southampton, Burnley's goalkeeper Nick Pope, and Leicester City's Jamie Vardy, who finished the season as top scorer and won the Golden Shoe. He left behind and became the best of the season.

De Bruyne was the only footballer from Manchester City to be nominated for this award.

The Belgian footballer scored 13 goals and made 20 assists in the past season, tying the record for Thierry Henry in 2003.
