Real Madrid officially announced Carlo Ancelotti

Real Madrid have announced that Everton manager Carlo Ancelotti has been appointed head of the team.

Real Madrid, which closed the season without a trophy, parted ways with Coach Zinedine Zidane.

The Spanish team, which has been searching for a coach for a while, brought Italian coach Carlo Ancelotti to the head of the team.

The experienced coach, who worked for Everton in the English Premier League, will coach Real Madrid next season.

Ancelotti also coached Real Madrid from 2013 to 2015.

The 61-year-old coach had won a Copa del Rey, a Champions League, a UEFA Super Cup and once a FIFA Club World Cup with the Madrid team.

The Italian coach said goodbye to Everton with a post he made on his official Twitter account.

“I want to thank the Everton Club, my players and the fans for giving me the opportunity to lead this fantastic club.

"I have decided to leave to start a new challenge with Real Madrid, which has always been in my heart."
