Reus: I will never go to Bayern Munich

Proceeding on the path to legend, Dortmund's star Marco Reus reiterated that he would never wear a Bayern Munich shirt in his career.

Marco Reus announced that his heart was beating with Borussia Dortmund and he would never play in Bayern Munich.

The name of the 30-year-old star was constantly mentioned by Bayern Munich during the Borussia Mönchengladbach and Dortmund periods. He returned to Dortmund where he grew up in the Reus infrastructure in 2012 by returning from Mönchengladbach and has been wearing the yellow-black jersey since then.

Reus gave an interview to Sport Bild, "As with many clubs, I received a transfer offer from Bayern Munich. I have great respect for Bayern Munich and the club's triumph. But I always wanted to play for Dortmund. It was clear when I was playing in Mönchengladbach; I said, 'I will only play in Dortmund in Bundesliga, otherwise I will go abroad.' "

Reus, who joined Dortmund academy at the age of seven in 1996, had to pursue his dream of a professional career elsewhere 10 years later.

The talented player who transferred to Gladbach after 3 years in Rot Weiss Ahlen, returned to Dortmund by scoring 41 goals in 109 matches.

Reus spent the last eight seasons in Dortmund and scored 129 goals in 266 matches.
