Sarri: I cried along with players

Maurizio Sarri, who came to the agenda with the clashes he had with his players in Chelsea, said that they lived after winning the Europa League.

Maurizio Sarri, who served in Chelsea in the 2018/19 season, worked only one season in the British giant. In the highly controversial season, the Italian coach won the Europa League with the Blues.

Describing those days, Sarri admitted that he was crying with the players after winning the Europa League;

"In my first 6 months in Chelsea, I had a confrontational relationship with the players in the locker room. But after the Europa League final, we cried together in the locker room."

Speaking about his behavior towards the players, Sarri said, "I am not the one who strokes the back of the players. I am talking too much about their mistakes and little about the good things they do."
