Steven Gerrard is returning to the Premier League as the new manager of Aston Villa and has announced that he has already banned his players from eating ketchup.
It is said that Antonio Conte, who became Tottenham's manager, also banned ketchup and mayonnaise on the grounds that he was overweight.
Sauce consumption has disappeared from the lives of some players in the Premier League.
Speaking at the pre-Brighton press conference, Steven Gerrard, when asked if ketchup was redlisted at Villa Park, replied:
"I forbid it without seeing it!
"The players need to have the right mentality. We have to move forward. They have to strive to be good."
