Transfer signal from Jürgen Klopp in Liverpool

Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp said they will work throughout August to reinforce the squad.

Liverpool, who could not spend the last season in the Premier League as they wanted, is making calculations to become assertive for the summit again.

However, the Reds have made only one transfer move so far. Liverpool, which added RB Leipzig's Ibrahima Konate to its roster for £36 million in May, has been keeping quiet for months.

Stating that they will continue their attempts until the end of the transfer period, the German coach added that if they enter the season with the current staff, it will not be a problem.

Speaking after Liverpool's 1-1 draw with Athletic Bilbao, Klopp was asked about the status of the squad and transfers.

"I'm happy with the squad we have, but that doesn't mean we're not on the lookout."

Nat Phillips, Xherdan Shaqiri, Neco Williams and Divock Origi are on the agenda to leave the team. It is stated that there are suitors for Shaqiri from Italy and Spain. For Phillips, Brighton and Burnley seem to be one step ahead.
