Two more records from Ronaldo: Shared Messi's record in the Champions League

The Portuguese star of Manchester United once again made history in the Champions League.

Cristiano Ronaldo, who started Manchester United's Champions League match with Young Boys in the starting 11, shared the record of his former teammate.

Taking the stage in the Premier League at the weekend, Ronaldo took part in the first match of the group and wore the Manchester United jersey on his back for the first time since 2009 in the Giants League.

In his 177th game in the Champions League, Ronaldo caught up with another Real Madrid legend, Iker Casillas, who was at the top of the list. Ronaldo, who aired the Young Boys nets, made his name written next to Lionel Messi with this goal.

The record he shared with Casillas is just one of the marks Ronaldo left in the history of the Champions League.

Ronaldo, who is the top scorer in the history of the tournament with 134 goals, also managed to become the top scorer in a season with 17 goals in the 2013/14 season.

The Portuguese, who scored 67 goals in group matches, is also the player who shook the net the most in the qualifying rounds.

Ronaldo's records do not stop counting. The legend, who is the only player to score in three different Champions League finals, is also the only player to score in 11 consecutive games in the Champions League, and not miss six matches in the Champions League groups.

Opening his second term at Manchester United against Newcastle, Ronaldo continued to score goals after 12 years.
