Two players test positive at Atletico Madrid

Atletico Madrid announced that the tests they had done by Diego Costa and Santiago Arias were positive.

In a written statement from the Atletico Madrid Club, it was reported that all football players except those in their national teams and Diego Costa and Santiago Arias gathered at the facilities in Madrid to start preparations before the 2020-2021 season in La Liga.

In the statement, which stated that the technical delegation and football players were subjected to PCR (molecular diagnosis) tests, Costa and Arias were informed that they did not participate in pre-season preparation studies and were in quarantine due to the positive PCR tests they had in their places on vacation.
