Warning to Manchester United young star: Time is running out

The former Red Devils striker thinks the young player doesn't have much time to prove himself.

Dimitar Berbatov, who is the darling of Manchester United fans with his goals for a period, used the phrase "any way of loss is profit" for Donny van de Beek's future at the club.

The Dutchman, who became one of the few young talents in Europe with the football he played with the Ajax jersey, was transferred to Manchester United in 2020 for 39 million euros.

The 24-year-old player, who signed a five-year contract with the English club, could not reach the expected level at Old Trafford and could not be among the indispensables of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Van de Beek, who was in the 11th place for the first time this season against Young Boys in the Champions League, was removed from the game at halftime after Aaron Wan-Bissaka received a red card.

According to Berbatov, if there is no change in a short time, Van de Beek may find himself on the sales list at the end of the season.

“Van de Beek seems to have lost his way on the field. United is running out of time to save his career. He was 11 in the Young Boys game, but was dropped at halftime. It's like a summary of his time at this club."

“If he is in the starting 11, he is definitely removed from the game. If he enters later, he only plays for 10 minutes. He didn't get the chance to show what he could really do."
